Prof. Neelam Raisinghani has joined IAARHIES on 16 April, 2018 as the CEO. Prior to this, she was heading the Government Liaison department of an NGO—Educate Girls. She has a rich experience of serving the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Rajasthan in various capacities—–as joint Director, Principal of Government Colleges, Professor of English, and Officer on Special Duty to Rajasthan State Commission for Women. Because of her gender expertise, she was deputed to Rajasthan Council of Elementary Education for promoting girls’ education at elementary level, across 33 districts of Rajasthan. She has the privilege of being trained in the latest trends of pedagogy by the British Council, India and the American Language Fellow of Maryland University.
Dr. Raisinghani has a varied experience of conducting and supervising research; trainings; presentation of research papers on gender and postcolonial issues at various International & National forums, teaching English Literature to graduate and post graduate students of various Government Colleges/Universities of Rajasthan. She was on the Board of Studies of various Universities. Many of her research papers/translations have been published. She has supervised the Research Work of many research scholars on gender and post-colonial issues.
She has worked in close collaboration with many international agencies like World Bank, UNICEF India, UNICEF Nepal, British Council, American Study Research Centre, and worked extensively on their projects. She has also worked for the Global Advisory Committee —United Nation’s Girls Education Initiative (UNGEI), promoting girls’ education in SAARC countries and the World Bank’s Living Life Access to Education.
