IAARHIES (The International Academic Association of Researchers in Humanities, IT, Engineering & Science)

Types of Presentation

Participation in the IAARHIES International Conferencesare available under the following categories:

(a) Oral Presentation:

The delegates wiling to join the IAARHIES international conference as a paper presenter (Oral Presentation) will require to submit the abstract part of the proposed presentation, which will be passed through the IAARHIES subject based review panel. Based on the comments of the respective review committee a proposal is accepted/rejected or send back for the changes as recommend by the committee. The review process takes 3-5 working day's duration after the submission of the proposals. The outcomes of the review process is conveyed to the respective author/s via email in this time duration. The authors, whose abstracts have been accepted for the conference are notified via email to confirm their registration with the payment of the registration charges. Upon the confirmation of the registration from the respective author/s, the presentation will be added in the final presenter's schedule and official invitation letter will be issued.

Thus, the acceptance of the paper/proposal is solely subject to the review process. The authors with an accepted abstract will only be invited for the presentation during the conference provided the author/s confirms the registration with the payment of the registration charges well in advance. The proposals can be submitted online using the 'Submission of Abstract' option from the website.

The authors with the accepted proposals may refer to the below guidelines to prepare their presentation for the conference:

  • Like scientific papers, oral presentations at a conference or internal seminar are for sharing your research work with other scientists. They, too, must convince the audience that the research presented is important, valid, and relevant to them. To this end, oral presentations — like papers — must emphasize both the motivation for the work and the outcome of it, and they must present just enough evidence to establish the validity of this outcome. Also like papers, they must aim to inform, not impress.
  • In contrast, presentations differ from papers in at least three ways: They are more localized in space and time, they impose a sequence and rhythm to the audience, and they normally include some level of interaction. These three differences affect the selection of a presentation's content.
  • As a consequence, and even more strongly than papers, presentations can usefully break the chronology typically used for reporting research. Instead of presenting everything that was done in the order in which it was done, a presentation should focus on getting a main message across in theorem-proof fashion — that is, by stating this message early and then presenting evidence to support it. Identifying this main message early in the preparation process is the key to being selective in your presentation. For example, when reporting on materials and methods, include only those details you think will help convince the audience of your main message — usually little, and sometimes nothing at all.
  • The presentations must not contain any adult or controversial content. Such presentations are discarded from the schedule.
  • A time slot of 25 minutes for presentation followed by 5 minutes for question-answer session is allocated to each of the author. The author must complete the presentation in this stipulated time frame and accordingly, may prepare for the presentation.

(b) Poster Presentation

The delegates willing to present their poster or intending to participate in the IAARHIES international conference will also require to submit the abstract part of the poster for the review process. Based on the comments of the review committee, the outcomes of the review process will be conveyed to the author/s via email. The authors, whose abstracts have been accepted for the conference are notified via email to confirm their registration with the payment of the registration charges. Upon the confirmation of the registration from the respective author/s, the presentation will be added in the final presenter's schedule and official invitation letter will be issued.

The authors with the accepted proposals may refer to the below guidelines to prepare their poster for the presentation during the conference:

  • The authors may print the poster with the standard size of 48' X 36'. Poster can be created using a presentation program such as PowerPoint and may be printed on a large format printer. Glossy paper, matte paper (with or without gloss or matte lamination), satin paper, vinyl, and printable fabric are common substrates for poster presentations and you can chose any of the substrates fitting and availability.
  • Please note that we also promote the digital posters where the same will be presented through the projector and screen and in case you are not carrying the hard copy, the same can as well be presented in the digital poster format and all the presentation facilities will be available at the venue.
  • Header: Prepare a headline that is reflective of the research, program or intervention. Include the authors and their affiliations(institution/organization) under the header for identification.
  • Organize the content: The objective is to present the information clearly and simply in a visually appealing way. Be careful not to overload the poster with text and/or graphics. Please use a consistent style and sequence (left to right or top to bottom) to guide the viewer through the poster. You may use figures, tables, graphs and/or photographs where suitable. Keep the text brief and to the point.
  • Layout: Posters should include appropriately labelled illustrative graphs and diagrams as much as possible. Long textual passages should be avoided, and the methodology section generally should be brief unless it is the main focus of the abstract. Use a large font size for your text, such as 24-point and arrange materials in columns rather than in rows to make your poster more reader-friendly. Indicate the sequence of tables, figures or graphs with highlighted or colored numbers or letters at least one inch high.
  • Typography: Please avoid using abbreviations, acronyms and/or jargon in your poster. Make sure the font is consistent throughout.

(c) Virtual Presentation

The IAARHIES also welcomes the proposals for the virtual presentation participation in its conferences. However, the acceptance of the proposals will be subject to the review process.

In the current situation of unfortunate spread of Covid – 19 corona disease globally, the virtual participation has been a latest trend to join an international conference. While observing the social distancing, this is also a time when we need connection and collaboration the most. Today's leaders have the challenge of taking care of their people— keeping them safe and also inspired, focused and resilient— now and in the uncertainty ahead.

That's why we are offering all of our keynote and presentation content delivered virtually to our delegates. The certification, conference proceedings etc can be downloaded from the website after the scheduled presentation and the conference kits and hard copies of the content will be shared via speed post to the registered delegates.

The access of the IAARHIES online presentation platform will be extended to the pre-registered delegates only where the author/s may present their respective research in virtual manner.

Based on the requirements, the delegates may be asked to submit the additional documents i.e. passport, office ID, student's ID card copies etc.

Once the registration is confirmed, the official invitation letter will be issued to the concerned delegates and they will be invited officially to join the conference. The conference kit, hard copies of the Fee Receipt, Participation Certificate, name badges and proceedings will be given at the conference venue. Co-authors are not included and won't be considered under this registration category.PG Students and PhD Scholars will be considered under Research Scholar Category.Registered candidates cannot claim for refund on their absence in the conference.
